Cal Pro Notaries

Received a call today from Cal Pro Notaries today. They asked that I send them a completed W-9 as they were 'updating' and needed my information again. According to whomever I spoke to they were calling all the notaries in their database. Why does this have to be done if they already have all my information? My SS#of course has not changed so I guess I don't understand the need. Anyone else get that call?

I also got a call from them yesterday. I have done work for them before and they have my info on file too. I thought is was a little strange. I don't know whats up.

I'm glad I was not the only one. I left that message (on the forum) three days ago. They just called me again saying they needed it NOW. Here is the really odd part. I have not done a signing for them in over a year. They don't owe me money. I find this very, very odd.
