Citizens Settlement , Pittsburgh, PA Comments?
Anyone have any comments on Citizens Settlements. I have done a few for them and I don't want to get in too deep without knowing the experience others had with them. Thanks .

  Now I 'm getting a little scared!
Nobody has done a closing for this company? I am crossing my finger that they are respectable. If anyone has done business with them please post your experience. Thanks.

Re: Now I 'm getting a little scared!
Hi ML/PA. I have never worked for them, but I looked them up on the PA Dept. of Corp. website and here is their info:
Date: 7/13/2007 Business Entity Filing History (Select the link above to view the Business Entity's Filing History)
  Business Name History
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name Name Type Citizen's Settlement Solutions, Incorporated Current Name
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Business Corporation - Domestic - Information Entity Number: 3725412 Status: Active Entity Creation Date: 4/26/2007 State of Business.: PA Principal Office Address: 528 Maple St Bethlehem PA 18018 Mailing Address: No Address
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, they are pretty new. Last April I worked for a company in South Carolina called Southeastern Settlements and I later found out they just filed as an LLC in May. I asked about them on NotRot but got no responses (since they were new). I am still chasing payment, as is another notary in Florida.

Thanks for the info. Looks like a new company and the listed address is different. I did 2 in the beginning of June and called because I haven't been paid yet but was told the check is going out. They said usually 30 days. We will see. I'll post my update, good or bad.

Thanks Copperhead. I am wondering if this might be a different company because the name is a little different (Citizens Settlements Services) out of Pittsburgh. All I know is that I better get paid!!

I just did a signing with them 6/25/07 so I am really currious about when you get paid. My expierence wasnt the greatest - but it was a learning expierence anyway. I sent my docs to Pittsburgh as well. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! (and me too)
