Error and Ommission
I was asked for a copy of my error and ommission cert. What is that and where do I get that? I am bonded but i wanted to make sure that is the same thing, right?

My E&O policy is an extra policy I purchased in addition to my surety bond. You can get an E&O policy from all of the same places that sale the surety bonds, in fact the NNA even offers them. They are inexspensive, like $40 bucks for $20k in coverage I think. Easy to aquire, and you may be able to get one faxed to you, in additon to it being mailed.

Ava Your bond protects the public. If ever the bonding company had to pay out on a claim against your bond, then you would have to repay the bonding company the amount paid out. Errors and Omission insurance protects against that.

Click the "Notary Supplies" tab and you'll find E&O information

check around
This site doesn't necessarily offer the lowest prices. I believe for my state they charge $208 for $50,000 (not positive as it was a few weeks ago I looked). I looked elsewhere and paid $60 and received $50,000 coverage PLUS $25,000 for legal fees.

But did you get it for 4 years????
Harry's prices are for 4 years. You can buy less but you have to ask directly!
