Express Financial Services - a little behind on payment

Just spoke with accounting about a closing held May 29, and I was told they are behind on payments and it will be at least another couple of weeks before they get to mine.

I'm not surprised they get later and later each time. Over 60 days for me to get paid.

I receive a check dated 7/10/07 for a 5/11/07 signing. They are up to date in my book for expecting payment 60 days out.

They use to pay in 30 days and now they do 45 days and now it is over 60 days. Next it might be 120 days.

I just received a check on 7/12 for a signing completed on 5/15. They are paying according to their schedule. You fax in your worksheet on either the 15th or the last day of the month, and they pay around 45 days after receipt of it.

They are a title company and shame on them for holding your money for 45 to 60 days. There is no need of it they are paid within 3 days.

They SAY 45 days (a little behind sometimes; employee problems sometimes) but my last experience with them was 77 days to be paid. Shame shame shame. That is simply wrong and they will not do that to me again. Best of luck to those of you that accept signings from them.

Kind of like the butcher that backed into the electric fan and got a little behind in his hamburger.

I've had it with them and waiting 60 days for payment or longer.

When the timely-payment wiring is short-circuited (which it appears to be), it's time to pull the plug.

Good bye EFS

Call me again when you can pay timely.

Now just wait...I won't get another call from them the rest of the year.

I called them first thing this morning, looking for payment for a 3/27/07 signing and payment for a signing in May. I was to email invoice to them for the March signing, and the one for May, payment was sent to the signing company last week! We will see how long it takes the signing co to pay up! Will never work for either one again..too long for payment

Just spoke with them today for the 4th time on signings completed May 22 and May 25. I was told check was mailed 7/20 for May 22 and the one for May 25 should be sent out this Friday. Hopefully, check will be in the mail tomorrow.

Check for May 22 signing finally arrived today July 26. Over 60 days. What makes these people think we can wait this long to get paid. Still waiting on check for signing completed May 25. Seems to me they would have "killed 2 birds with 1 stone".

I have outstanding bills with them also. I informed them yesterday that I will not be able to complete any closings for them until they resolve the current invoices. I also told them if they are not resolved I will contatct the lenders for payment. Stick to your guns out there. If they are more then 60 days overdue we all must stop doing closing for these people.
