Fax back question
Hey all,
I have this company that gives somewhat consistent work, but pays little, and requires faxbacks.
When you all do fax backs, do you reorganize the file back to the where it was, or do you just clip everything back together and send it off?
I do the latter with this company, you get what you pay for, but for others, I reorganize.

I personally always put the package back in order, with the HUD and borrower funds on top! The TC reviewer will love you, and be less critical of your flaws if you have any! Just my opinion, have a great end of month!

Some will give an index of the docs. in that package, otherwise I stick blank pages or some such where I take out the docs to be faxed.

I usually reorder the papers for presentation so the borrower sees the important docs first. Unless specifically told to return the file in a certain stacking order, I never waste time reorganizing it.

Bwrs copies are different, I put the RTC and HUD on top, the rest doesn't make any difference. What does the bwr know (or care) about placement. This was about fax back to the leander/ss.

You misunderstood...
I'm not talking about the borrower's copies - I'm talking about the docs I present to the borrower for signature and then return to the TC or lender. I have my own order of presentation, to get the potential problems out of the way in the beginning.

Fax backs are a pain. Not only does it potentially delay shipping in a timely manner, it takes time, and time is money. The HUD and RTC are fine but some of these people want 30-40 pages faxed back. If it is over 10 pages I now charge for my time especially if I am busy.
If only a few pages I put back in order, if more, nowdays I just stack on top and attach a note stating that due to fax back requirements the package is no longer in original order.

When I am sending back the docs, the only order of documents that I worry about is that my invoice is on top. Been doing it this way for years and have never had a single complaint.
