Got paid by Eleventh Hour Signings Yesterday . .

After a lot of threats of legal and BBB action, etc. I got paid as agreed yesterday by Eleventh Hour Signings. I am waiting to see if the check clears and then I will remove my BBB complaint.

I had to fight for this money. That's not the way things should be . . I am out of their database and happy about it!

For those of you trying to get paid by Eleventh Hour you may need to fight. I received my check via Fed Ex . . because I told her (Paige) I had to have it by Tuesday in order to stop further action.

Good Luck to those of you waiting for payment!! I'm still crossing my fingers that the check clears!! Smile

So you're saying that when you posted yesterday

that Paige promised you'd receive your check on the 10th.... she FedEx'd it to be sure she kept her word. Correct? I'm not trying to defend Paige but her rep here has been pretty darn good and from what you're saying she continues to try to clean up a bad situation. I agree we shouldn't have to wait for payment....reality is we do. I'm glad this ended well for you, I'm certain we'll hear it ended well for the others.

Re: So you're saying that when you posted yesterday

After threatening her . . yes you are correct, however, if you see the lists of people that are having issues with her and not only not being paid, but being ignored placed on voicemail . . not responding to messages etc. I think it is rather clear that this company is trying to avoid the notaries it contracted. This is not right . .

I received payment "before" other notaries that have outstanding payments due to them beyond the time mine was owed to me. If I had not hounded her for my money I would still be posting on these boards and calling phone numbers only to get voice mail, leaving voice messages that are never returned .. emails that are never answered. There is NO excuse for this behavior!!!

If a company is having problems they should at least be professional enough, decent enough, to answer their phone, or emails and let people know they are having problems. It should NOT take a threat of further legal action before a notary gets paid for services rendered! This is my opinion of course maybe you don't mind dealing with this . . with the possibility of NEVER getting paid . . with constant pressure to push a company to pay you. For me this is unacceptable! I did the job and the very least that is owed to me is a response. I hate to have to get forceful . . but I did the job . . they got paid . . I should get paid.

I simply felt I owed it to the company and to other notaries to inform them that I have been paid, although it took a heck a lot of stress and negativity to get a response from this company.

I suggest that you do not remove the BBB complaint, but rather update it as "issue resolved". If you remove it, then when others check that company's BBB history, they will not be able to see there was a complaint lodged against it.

Good for you Susan...Now it's my turn...I hope to get paid.I called them again today.I was told Sara in A/P would call me to get this issue resolved...no return call yet.
I couldn't agree with you more. We handle their customers with a great deal of professionalism. They don't have to call me to make sure I show up, return the docs,or fax back what's required.Yet, when it's time to pay,all of these deadbeat companies just hope we'll forget what's owed us if they ignore our requests.I will file a lawsuit against this lady, then she can deal with the black mark on her credit report for 7 years.I guess I'll have the last word.Hate to be that way, but they leave you no choice.

Still waiting to get paid for a job I did 5-10-07. They have not replied to my last e-mail. Luckily I only did one signing for them.

I'm still waiting on 5/8 & 6/1. Unfortunately, I did a search on them before taking the jobs but at that point it seemed that were still paying their debts. Was told 2.5 weeks ago that the 5/8 check would be going out in 3 days.... WOW, now I know why they call it snail mail.
