Help for HOW TO use search engines /features
It is absolutely crucial in this line of work that we become skilled at using search engines and website search features - however, not everyone knows how to use them effectively. Once you learn how, you can become far more self-sufficient AND the knowledge you acquire on forums becomes far more ACCURATE as you learn to 'trust, but verify'!
Google has already invented the wheel - here is a link to their 'cheat sheet' detailing exactly what to type as queries, depending upon the answers you're searching for:

For people entering into this business who aren't yet cutting-edge with a computer - learning how to effectively search won't take you long, isn't really difficult (not much to learn, really), and gives you a virtual key to unlock endless resources in a NY minute.
It will also help you build upon your professionalism, your 'internet persona', and the integrity with which you operate your new business. It is part of our human nature to be so much more inclined to reach out and help others who appear to be really trying, than to rush to the aid of someone who appears unwilling to make any effort on their own behalf. Particularly if you're really working hard and making a lot of effort for your own self-survival, it can become frustrating when faced with new competitors that might present themselves in a manner that doesn't show any efforts of their own.
Well - you can't KNOW what you haven't yet LEARNED, right? If someone doesn't teach you or show you HOW to search, then you can't KNOW how.
I just thought the Google cheat sheet was pretty well written, and might be a great resource for those who wish to learn search language.
