Watch OUT Ya-All!! Jarrod Rodgers/First Choice Signing Service -- I have done 4 signings for Jarrod Rodgers, and he will not pay. He lies and says the checks have been sent, when they don't arrive he says they must be lost in the mail and that he will issue new checks, which he never does-- or they TOO must be lost in the mail! First he answers calls and emails and puts you off with excuses why he hasn't paid, then when he knows that you have had enough, he will not reply or answer your calls -- DEADBEAT COMPANY!

Did you let him know that you are contacting the title company regarding not being paid? If he wants to continue getting business from them he will pay you. So far (knock on wood) this has always worked for me). Good luck.

Deadbeat!

Jarrod Rogers is a total dead beat. For 2 years I never had a problem with his company First Choice Signing Service. But then he started to short our fees. Just $5 here, $10 there. Never any reason why. We did finally get paid on the past due invoices, but trying to get it was too much work. At this point he still owes $20; I let him know that I would just keep responding to these types of messages until he pays me (he and Rudy do read the boards).

You should NEVER have to work for your money twice. But if you do . . . Take him to small claims. Report him to the BBB. Keep invoicing him on a regular basis. Visit him in person if that is an option. Keep leaving messages if he will not answer the phone. E-mail the invoices to him. Turn him over to collections. AND NEVER WORK for him again. Do a search and see how bad his reputation has become.

Times are to a point that we must all research new companies that call us. I use to give most (not all) the benefit of the doubt, but not any more. Too many are reporting financial problems and personally it just isn't worth the time to chase down monies. Good luck!

You are soooooo RIGHT! Thank you for all of the help! It is such a shame because notaries are standing in line to work for good companies-- He is NOT a professional. He says payment is coming - please wait-- please wait-- It's been sent, he'll stop payment and send a new one, etc- BLA BLA BLA. It would be nice if he could come up with a new excuse, the ones he uses are old.

Rudy LIAR too! They still owe me

from couple of years ago. Always telling me that they will send cancelled check showing that I cashed - WRONG. Liars - esp. that Rudy. They have no onscience whatsoever!

I did get paid for a job, but only because I live 30 min. away and offered to come to his office to pick up my check. I got it in the mail 2 days later.

On another notary chat board a woman said he sent her a check and it bounced! YIKES-- Isn't there a law about against that???
