  Kimkins Way of Eating (WOE)
Several people have contacted me regarding the Kimkins WOE to lose weight that I posted about a few days ago, and have mentioned they would like to buddy-up to reach our target weights. Anyone else who wants to buddy-up, send me an email at [e-mail address].
For those of you that did not see my earlier post, the Kimkins website is http://www.kimkins.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1. It is possible to lose 15-20 lbs a month and keep it off through new ways of eating and looking at food. Many people who have been unable to lose weight at a reasonable pace on other diets, including Atkins, South Beach and Weight Watchers, have been successful with Kimkins.
If you are interested in learning more, don't hesitate to contact me by email.
This is not an advertisement, and I have no interest in the website - I only want to share the information.

TOTALLY OT - As I sit here...
eating my salad with grilled chicken breast, with carb free/fat free dressing. 6 pounds down, many more to go, but a good start. Thank Lynn. I'll be contacting you.
I know this is totally off topic, and I apologize - But I did label it OT - :-) - But I have had a terrible time with my weight since becoming a mobile notary 4.5 years ago. It is soooo hard to eat properly when you are in the car all the time and never know what your schedule is going to be. It has gotten so bad that when I cook dinner around here, everyone is in shock! :-) No wonder the pounds have tallied up. I'm looking forward to networking with other notaries who I'm sure have these same issues - eating properly on the run.
  Joan-OH

Good food choices on the road . . .
are boiled chicken strips, part-skim mozzarella cheese sticks, hard-boiled eggs and a pull-top can of tuna.

I am sorry that I forgot to write OT!
I realized that I did as soon as I hit post, but I couldn't edit it.

OT.. Road food & weight GAIN
My problem is eating out at night when the closings end. And those wonderful iced coffees in the middle of the afternoon for a quick picker-upper. My road food is carrot sticks, apples and bananas. BUT... I also like a tuna sandwich with chips. (What a downfall, huh?) Last yr. I did alot better when I was taking V-8 juice on the road.

CONCERNED ABOUT TOO MANY CARBS IN YOUR DIET?
For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.
  1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans. 2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans. 3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans. 4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans. 5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
  CONCLUSION
Eat and drink what you like.
Speaking English is apparently what kills you.
