LIA SIGNING

I have finally received payment for a signing I did for LIA on 04/30/07 and the check was dated 06/18/07 and I received it today 07/12/07. I wished I had searched on this site before I did a signing for them. I know better now.

Did one on 2/22 paid 4/23. 60 days is their norm.

Just did a signing for them and kept the closers phone number as it is different from the one on the confirmation sheet. No one ever answers the one on the sheet and the message is about tracking numbers and payment. If anyone needs that phone number to talk to a live person I have it on file. I may need it myself in a couple of months if they drag their feet on payment.

Lia Signing contacted me yesterday for a closing in my neighborhood 7 pm tonight. They wanted to pay $50 with a 45-day turnaround time to pay me. It's my policy to add $10 per hour after 5pm--so when I asked for $70 and told her that I don't usually accept more than a 30-day turnaround for a new company relationship, she said she would call me back if my rate was approved. I'm glad she didn't call me back if it actually takes 60 days or more to get paid.

I did one for them in March, finally got a check (dated for May) in June. I think we need to add them to the company list as *slow payers*.
