LandAmerica releases 2nd quarter results
Looks like second quarter revenue is down compared to second quarter last year. Guess it's time for signing agents to take another cut in fees.

I had a signing with them just last week where they told me they paid $85 (including e-docs) - they eventually came up to my minimum fee.

They called me today at 2:00p for an edoc signing at 5:00p. CWFS, docs not ready yet, fax backs. $85.00, they would not budge - (and I wasn't asking for a whole lot more than that.) I turned it down because I know what my minimum accepted fee needs to be to keep me in business.
I've worked for them for years without any known errors on my part. But I guess with the quantity of low fee accepting NSA's in my area, they have no problem filling the orders. I don't know how anyone can make a profit with some of the fees these companies are paying. Either they don't value their services, or they just haven't figured out yet that they're just breaking even, if not losing money. The liability of this job alone, warrants more than $85.00 per assignment (at least in CA).

I was actually surprised, they've met my fee the last 4X's
except for today. $50 to travel 30 miles one way for a citi with 25 pages, 50 total, um no thanks, I'll pass!
