Mobile office printer, inverter, deep cycle battery what do
I read up all I could find, and reviewed our search. And I read about pure sine inverters. Or does it really matter what brand of inverter you get, if you have the right watts. Also what laser printer do you have for your car ? I have read about the drain on your cars battery when the inverter is hooked up. Did you change out your car battery to a deep cycle. Or just leave it the same ? Any problems ?

I had mine professional installed at Sound Advice. The installed a separte deep cycle marine battery and a battery iosolator. It does not drain off your car battery, it has its own and your car battery is a backup when you deep cycle is dead. You will need to charge the deep cycle from time to time with a battery charger overnight. Yes id does matter what invertor you get, I have a HP 1320 now but I did have aborther 8840 all in one with dual trays and it ran that one. You have to be careful in the intense heat with your printers they will overheat.

3000 watts. You need to see how many watts you will need. My Brother ran 975 watts

I have talked to many notaries with mobile offices and many have said they spend lots of money setting up a mobile office and has not used it enough to recoupe the costs. I am just trying to set up one for backup in a pinch. My laptop is 95 W and the printer on top end is 540 watts . I was looking at a Brother 2170. That is all I need. It seem to me a inverter over 1000 watts would be overkill. ?

Re: Mobile office printer, inverter, deep cycle battery what
I use a 1000 watt pure sine inverter. My inverter was professionally installed at a car stereo store and hooked directly to my car battery with an isolator. I have only once had a dead battery and that was because I left the inverter AND the printer on (whoops) all night long. I recommend a pure sine for printing using a laser printer. I did not spend a fortune and you shouldn't have to either.
1000 watt pure sine inverter $250 on ebay Installation $220 HP 1320 $300 Verizon Wireless card $60 per month
Went mobile 9/2005 and it paid for itself by the end of the year. Now, I don't use it so much. Gone are the days when I was doing 5-8 closings per day. I'm lucky to get 3-4 days per month when I do 5 per day.

Re: Mobile office printer, inverter, deep cycle battery what
I have a T-mobile Card and I pay $29.95 a month. The reason I have a 3000 watt invertor is because my printer used 940 watts and there sometimes in a surge that goes beyond that and can be double 940 watts. My son is an electrician and explained it to me. I have a small scanner for ID's and it runs off a cig lighter 12v plug. My mobile setup costs me as follows: Invertor $350, battery and isolator $150 and install was $200. Total cost of $700. Right after I got my set up I was able to do a last minute closing for 1st and 2nd for $250 that I could not have done otherwise. I also do inspections where I get an email on the road and was able to do more inspections. I made money back in 2 days.
