that doesn't sound good :-( - I finally did one for them because they accepted my fee - was 2 years prior to that that I had worked for them and they paid pretty quick.

Looks like anywhere from 30 to close to 60 days from closing date. They do meet my fee often too when they have no choice.

For Me...
...it's a question of why even waste time talking to them? I just received my once a year call from ND & didn't hesitate to turn them down w/o even discussing fees. They're one of the worst offenders of lowball offers in this industry. Why would I want to assist keeping them in business even if they meet my fee once in a blue moon?

Re: For Me...
Every SS out there will lowball given the opportunity; so, by your reasoning then - don't support any of them even if they do in fact meet your fee. Sounds like a solid business plan to me.
If they meet my fees and pay in a reasonable time, regardless if the loan cancels then you bet I will take their business. Over the years I have never had to resend invoices or call and ask where is my money. They pay on a 30 cycle and it just depends when the closing takes place as to how long you wait for payment. My absolute longest is 58 days.

My Intent...
...was to not be critical of your overall business MO, just as it relates to ND. It's not true every SS will lowball you like ND does every day of the week. There are a select few who pay well & in a timely fashion to boot. I'm not going to argue with you over whether it's solid business practice to support ND by taking the few good paying jobs they're forced into paying. I prefer not to & won't do it.

They pay at the end of the month following the month of your signing. So if you did one July 6, you'll get paid by the end of August. Don't worry, you shouldn't have to chase them for payment.
