No matter how stressful signing can be
it doesn't compare to working FT. Just venting here -- for every signing I've had with disfunctional borrowers, distressed houses, late docs, notary blamed for everything that could go wrong -- I am 100% happy that I can do this job & love it. At least I never have to go back to those places again.
My FT on the other hand, is quickly becoming a job. And a place I dread going to M-F. Short stoy-long: the compny I work for was bought out by another. Merging the systems is a nightmare. Not having the tools needed to perform the job is a disaster waiting to explode. I feel like Wakefield pitching his arm off & not getting any run support from the team.
Thanks for letting me vent -- I know my hubby is tired of hearing about it. I do count my lucky stars that I am able to utilize the tools available to me to do this job & that I can do it well. I love being a Notary!

Re: So true, Melissa...it's my belief that
there's no job in the world worse than the job you're in that you hate and the day you start dreading going into your 9-5 is the day it's time to move on -
Keep your chin up - maybe it will get better - if not from what I've read of you in your posts you'll pull through just fine - and probably be better and stronger for it!! and happier!!
Good luck!!

Re: Yes, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger
and while I don't officially hate my day job - yet - it's edging ever so close. Any job is easy money if you just don't care...

Re: Yes, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger
I quit my part time day job when the boss wouldn't let me leave to do a $150 signing. Instead I got to sit there and make $55 and put in way more time. That was my last day.

Your Posts here have always been helpful!
I'm sorry to hear that your FT job is not going well. Not caring about one's job is the beginning symptom of a problem. Please, begin the search for another, better job now while you are still gainfully employed. Given your dedication to doing a good NSA job, I'd say you'll get fed up with your FT job and have to quit sooner or later.
Best wishes!
