OT - I had another %$@*^%# flat tire!!
This is my 5th flat tire in 4 months between 2 vehicles and my 8th in a year between 2 vehicles and my horse trailer. I'm buying my 3rd new tire in 3 weeks today!!! UGH!!! So that is 2 new tires for my new car, and 1 new tire for my truck. The little tiny tires for my Vibe are more than the big tires for my truck!!

Are you driving off-road or on construction sites? I've had a flat tire on the way to a closing and it really sucks when things like that happen. Once I had a mechanical problem on the way to a signing and had to call my mechanic for a tow and Enterprise to rent a car. I made it to the signing only 15 minutes late.
Hope you have AAA and road hazard insurance on your tires!

Be thankful you don't drive an 18 wheeler. They are about 1,000 a tire. You'd be stuck on the road all the time. lol I feel for you. Not fun.

You might now believe this...but I actually carry around a tire repair tool kit and a cigarette lighter assisted air compressor. There is so much construction going on around here it is inevitable getting a flat.....and after Lisa P and I got a flat on our way to Tampa a few weeks back....

I once had a square nail show up in my tire. They haven't mad those since the early 1900's!

That is so true. I have had tire insurance for 4 years and I have had only 1 flat. Before that I was having 2 - 3 flats a year.

aerosol flat fixer
To avoid changing a tire you can buy a can of tire inflater/sealer for under $5 to carry in your trunk. It will at least get you to the tire shop.
