Opportunities lost

Went to PetSmart yesterday with The Platinum Blonde to pick up some of those fancy, tiny cans of dog food for Lucy the Picky Chihuahua. Right inside the door stood a rather hefty woman wearing a low-cut, spaghetti-strap blouse that housed a bosom, much of which was on display, large enough to comfort an entire Marine regiment. Under each arm she cradled a Rottweiller puppy, about four months old and cute as dimples on an elf. I groaned, I strained, I huffed, and finally was able to restrain myself from blurting out, “Boy, would you just look at those puppies.”

There are some opportunities that should never be passed up, whatever the consequences. I realize now I missed one of those yesterday.
