Premier Document over 2 months no payment

Dummy me, I took a signing from Premier Document on May 24, 2007. Still no check. I did receive an email from Matt stating that he would get my check out last week July 23, 2007. Still no check. He says that they are having financial difficulties. ( or just bad accounting) anyone else having problems getting paid?

Unfortunately, Premier Document has been the subject of much discussion for its recent nonpaying practices.

There are two ways to access that information. First is a search using the orange search button (accessed on the main Notary Talk page (top, middle)). Second is via the company's profile in Signing Central. You'll need to log in first, go to its profile and click on "Forum Discussion" and "Members Comments."

Sure, I'm also having problems w/them. Matt used to reply to my e-mails but he's not doing so anymore. I sent the issue to a collecting service and that's not working either. JUST BE AWARE NOT TO ACCEPT SIGNINGS FROM THESE CLOWNS.

Hi they owe me as well, Matt tried to put me on the defense with his emails they owe me since June 1 still no payment July 30th.
I tried to file a complaint with BBB they have no listing, which means they are not complying with local business licensing laws. Perhaps we should call local govt?

Have you all beat. I'm owed from April, May & june. Spoke w/Matt who said they are def. having finaincial diff. but may be merging w/another co. I've already filed claim w/BBB but they have an F rating anyway so I doubt it willl help. I'm also supposed to be getting a check for at least my April signing this week. Gopd luck to all but we may be SOL. Its too bad too because they used to be a pretty good co. to work with.

Spoke with Matt today ... they are "dissolved" ... I am concerned that they assigned us for a closing knowing they could not pay ... if so, this could be fraud ... anyone want to write the Dept of Justice?

They are gone. Cell phones and email address all dead. If you are looking to do something about the fraud issue, I have the email from Dave Alpern from that company asking if I would be willing to take 1/2 of the fee owed to me. I kept the email. Not sure if it would help.

By the way, they did call me for another assignment after my previous one was about 70 days overdue. I told the gal, you are still assigning notaries when your company can not pay? She said huh? Didn't you read the mass email that Dave Alpern just sent out, and she said ...I'll call you right back. Never heard from her again.
