Reminder - Northern MI Meet & Greet, Sun, 7/16
Just a reminder for any and all of you who can make it.
We are still planning a "Meet and Greet" in Gaylord on Sunday, July 16
at 1:30 at the White Pine Resort and Lodge, exit 282, I-75.
The purpose of the Meet & Greet is primarily to do just that – meet, greet,
eat and talk with other signing agents about what we do, how we do it, and all the
things we’d like to see done better (or more of!). The meeting is open to ANYONE
who wishes to attend. If you know of any other NSA's in your area, please invite
them also. The purpose of a Meet and Greet is not so others can "steal"
your clients, but to discuss some of the problems, trials, etc. that we all face
and how to handle them. Your business is your business when you arrive and when
you leave it is still your business. We've had several of these in S. E. Michigan and one in Lansing and everyone that attended felt it was well worth their time and effort.
Renee will be to speaking on “The Loan Process – A Different Perspective”, an article she wrote in a Newsletter that readers found very enlightening. It is from the ‘insider’ perspective, taken from her many years of working for lenders and title companies and explains the rhyme & reason for situations that we signing agents deal with.
We’ll also present you with some basic information about a new but exciting alternative to the NNA (which only takes our money and doesn't listen to those of us out in the field). It is
run by notaries, for notaries and to put more money in notaries pockets. That’s
about it for the agenda – we like to keep things loose, comfortable, casual and
FUN!
We’d like to see EVERYONE join us at 1:30 P.M., Sunday July 15th at:

Just off I-75 exit 282, next to the Quality Inn
They are giving us a meeting room. You may order off the menu and they will do separate checks.
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU’LL BE ATTENDING, SO WE CAN GIVE A COUNT TO THE RESTAURANT!
Give us a call or shoot either of us an email letting us know how many are coming
or with any questions you might have.
We are also discussing
the possibility of a meeting in the western part of the state (probably a Sunday in August) and we are looking for ideas, location, etc so if you know of anyone in that area, please give us their email address.

I wish northern MI were closer to northwest IN - I would love to attend your meet and greet - what a great educational session it will be with Renee as head speaker. Good luck, hope you attract lots.
