Got a call from SOX yesterday. Told the scheduler (who appeared quite dispirited) that I have no problem working for his company, and would get right on the signing as soon as the fee was wired into my bank account. It was the first time I had heard from SOX since my only other call four years ago. Maybe they've run through all the still-green-behind-the-ears notaries, and are recycling now? Nah...too much to hope for.
