Shopping for a new web host, any suggestions?

I am shopping for a new host for my websites, using my own domains: I don't want my domain to hang off the back end of someone elses. I've looked at go daddy and they allow me to have individual domains to point to individual web pages but I don't like thier logo on each page. I need to host a number of pages and I need someone who can also support data pages. I have interactive pages with secure data entry by visitors. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I have several at omnis.com, beginning at $6.95/month each. They have good tools, good service, good account manager (as in, tool for you to manage your client accounts). If you host with them, domain renewal is free.

Here's mine, and of course I get a referral fee if you decide to use them. Lots of bandwidth, storage space, unlimited SQL, and etc. I like them b/c their forum is very informative much like here and the flash tutorial for just about everything on building a website.

I have been using these services for 11 years now and never came close to approaching the limits of what they offer.

I don't want to get zinged for advertising them, but check out what they offer. I'm sure you will be pleasently impressed for the low price.

Another option

I've moved all my websites and the websites that I manage to IX Webhosting. They provide dedicated IP addresses, great 24 hour LIVE service, Linux or Windows servers and much more, starting at $3.95/mo. Their parent company is eCommerce Corporation, located in Kentucky. Like others, I am an affiliate and offer a link from my website, so I too have a financial interest in them. Check 'em out, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. (They will even throw in a free domain registration, so you can add another one without incurring any addition costs.)

Re: Another option~ I'm familiar with IX PAW, I just didn't

stop to think they were still around. They were very popular with the Real Estate set in the late '80s. I kind of lost track of them after Windows superceded DOS. I'll check them out, Thanks.

I don't think IX Webhosting was around in the 80's. According to their website, they didn't come into business (in their present form) until 1999. There may have been another company with the same or similar name, but not the current one.

I use 1and1. You can choose from several packages starting at 2.95 or there abouts.

I get credit if you use my link, so here you go.
