Sonny The Horse

As I pulled up to the borrowers house, I noticed a large beautiful brand new iron fence.
I was thinking, wow, what is this, Fort Knox? Then I realized that this fence was holding in a horse called Sonny, who roamed the 65 acres of the property. As I was ready to institute my friendly dog and pony show (no pun intended), I said hi to Sonny who was really giving me the eye. (What is this guy doing in my backyard) As I was walking in, you know, making small talk with the borrowers, I suddenly turned back and there was Sonny right square in my face, and not a borrower. Lo and behold,
Sonny was following me right in the house. I said to the borrowers, I thought Sonny was tied up in one spot. No the borrowers said, Sonny roams the property, plus the fact he is on title. So I had Sonny sign the mortage, Truth in lending, and right to cancel. Also got his hoof print in my journal too. The borrowers, such a nice couple, even gave me three eggs from their chickens in the barn. Fresh eggs next morning. Even showed me what bait to use to catch a fish in the lake. AAH, doesn't get any better than this.

Now my appaloosa Nick would have taken your brief case and then chased you around the yard!! Cid would have poked you with is nose to see if you would fall over, and Kismet would have stood in front of you, looking very serious and twitched her ears trying to make you move. Then Nick would chase you around for another 5 minutes of so!

Sorry, Johnny, I'm just not impressed. I've been to many closings where I've had part of the horse sitting right there at the table with me.
