Speeding Closing

I completed I signing for Speeding Closing on 5/21/07. I have invoiced, called and emailed without response. Seems Speedy is not very speedy to pay. I will ask for payment from them upfront if I do any future business with them...

The Speedy in NJ took over four months to pay me. I thought they went out of business.

Re: Speeding Closing NOT Speedy Payment

Never have been and never will be. It's been a looooong time since I worked for the, but I do remember they had all of these stipulations about invoicing. I mean jump through hoops kind of stuff. They try hard at making it difficult to get paid. What a bunch of losers!

Re: Speeding Closing NOT Speedy Payment

They owe me for 1 done in May so I just called. A/P guy is out until next Monday(so I was told) so I left a message for Frank (the owner)to call me. They do have a terrible payment schedule because you have to invoice them @ the end of the month and you get paid @ the end of the following month. Anyway I should have received my check weeks ago. Not good.

Re: I was paid within 2 weeks

After hearing about their slow pay on this board, I told them I did not think I could accept the job. They had me paid through HUD & I got pymt within 2 weeks of closing (maybe even sooner).

Have anyone try invoicing them through paypal? You may have better luck b/c I remember getting an email saying something to that extend. I haven't done any signing for Frank in over a year, but at one time I did enough that checks were coming like clock work, never missed a payment.

I have worked for them several times without a problem.

Re: Speedy Closing

Well, that was then. I always got paid too but we all know how quickly things can change. I never had to wait this long and I have a total of 3 that were done. I hope it's an oversight.

Re: Speedy Closing Payment Received

Just wanted to update everyone. While I did not receive a response via email or otherwise, I did receive payment. Smile
