SunRocket - A good example for low ballers

This may not be the greatest analogy, I just wouldn't run my business on this type of model.

They were reputable with great services. They lowered their price by offering $199/2yrs to gain market shares. - Somewhat related to what we're facing with the signing market condition where SS lowering fee to get signing volume. Low price/fee over services will fail you.

Cheapo consumers like me thought I got a good deal, fell for it, then got stiff - Notaries taking low fee may more likely to get stiff as well.

VOIP popularity has grown like mushroom over the last year (they will drop like bad apples somedays) - New fly by night SS popping up everyday so are newly manufactured notaries (they'll get crushed like bad apples).

Lucky me, after couple days of Googling I managed to crack the code on SR adapter and the phones to use with the new provider. Didn't effect my business much even though I was without a main line for 10 days b/c I've long learned not to keep all eggs in one basket.

$20.00 qwest/month....

A $10.00 Fred meyer calling card for long distance faxing and T Mobile. There is a reason that the old phone company is still around after all these years and that is reliability and cost of service.
