Sworn in for court by phone

I have been searching for messages using the search button but can not locate any information, if you know a message # that would be great or any details, this is my first one and I would like to go with some understanding of what I'm suppose to do.

I recently did this for a client. I was a little apprehensive as I had never done this before either. It was easy as pie. I basically went to the home, the judge called and talked to the client, then asked if I was present, client said yes. The judge then swore me in (2 seconds worth) then he proceeded with the client. Total time 5 minutes. It was a cake walk.
Don't fret. You'll do fine. Just verify ID.

There is a section in the handbook for swearing in at a depo. It would also be appropriate in this situation.

Just wondering. . .

How could someone swear you in over the phone like that, without seeing you and making sure that it was you taking the oath and not an imposter?

That's why PB_CA was there, to identify the person and administer the oath before him/her so PB knew it was the proper person taking the oath.
