Thank goodness for my GPS

I really like my GPS navigation system but it REALLY came in handy with my Friday closing.

I programmed in the address of the closing as I was going to an area that I was only vaguely familiar with. Upon going about 1/3 of the way I encountered a road detour sign which took me in a direction that I was even less familiar with, but my GPS quickly recovered and kept me going.

Another third of the way...yikes..yet another detour which really turned me around, but good old GPS said "no problem!". I kept going.

Couldn't believe it.....after a few more miles, there was still another road construction sign heading me much further east than I intended to go. But GPS said "keep going..I'll get you there!"

By the time I got to the closing I had no idea how I'd gotten there and certainly would have been lost going home. This was the first time I reallllly appreciated the navigation system and realized how valuable it really is in a job like this!

Welcome to our 4th season

ROAD CONSTRUCTION. LOL. Seems as this summer you really can't "get there from here". My GPS has been my life saver too several times this summer.

I have a garmin and I live in San Antonio, Texas - always have signing way out - without my gps I would never be able to get there and back. At night or rain when I can't see the streets signs it always gets me to the address. The only bad part is our town is adding new address's and the unit can not be updated right away. I have to wait for a new map to come out for updates of address or new business's.
