Typos - Quit Claim Deed

I rec'd assignment for a refi. Confirmed appt. time w/ borrower, wrong address listed on my closing agent request. Informed company of typo. All docs had correct address on them, but had a typo in the borrower's name on one of the docs. While at signing, Title Co. called and said they had add'l docs that had to be signed, thought they would be ready before signing, but were not. Arrived at borrowers home 2nd time (2nd fee), had 2 docs signed, and when I returned home, noticed wrong address listed on Quit Claim Deed. Both docs were signed and notarized. I cannot get in touch with the borrower and I need to send the docs out for Sat. pick-up. Should I be concerned?

Add a note to the documents and place it conspicuously on the top of the stack. It is title's or the lender's responsibility to ensure that the docs are correct, not yours. You noticed the error, you attempted to contact someone who could tell you want needed to be done, you did what you could. Should you be concerned? You were. Your concern is what drove you to do what you did. Now it's their concern.

They will have the docs Monday morning. I would give the title company you sent the docs to, a call on Monday after 10 AM their time just to give them a heads up in case you need to do it yet again.
