I finally got paid by them, but ONLY because I contacted the North Carolina Secretary of State, Dept. of Corporations. I know for a fact that Dept. of Corporations contacted Bill and that is the ONLY REASON he paid me. My understanding is that he ignored all the other notaries he owed. Sqeaky wheel gets the grease.

Thyanks for the heads-up. There are 3 of us that I know they owe money to - one is owed over $1,700. She has filed suit. All 3 of us will be contacting NC State Corp. Commission. Anyone else out there that wants to join in please contact me. I understand he is still conducting business in NC but has pulled out of VA. - maybe he thinks the long arm of the law doesn't reach that far. He is mistaken.

Sandra, you may want to also contact the Virginia Secretary of the Commonwealth. I did that, but when they finally responded to my letter, I let them know I had already been paid. Since US Title's failure to fulfill contractual obligations extends to so many Virginia Notaries Public, I think the VA SOC would want to know.
