clearing printer cache - HELP
I had problems printing pdf files a while back and someone suggested something to clear my printer's cache - well it's doing it again. I can't seem to find that message and am having a heck of a time getting my documents to spool quickly.

The best way to clear that cache is to power off the printer for about a minute. If that fails, unplug it for about a minute.
I've run into that problem in the past. My printer has 40MB of memory in it.

I have a Lexmark. If there is a printer icon in the lower right, right click on it, then a window will appear. Click on what you want to clear out, and then hit delete. That will take care of it.

I found this has worked for me. Go to control panel.....go to admin. tools....click on services and open it....scroll down to print spooler....open that.....to the left click on stop the service....It will then clear itself....then to the left again click on start service and that will take care of it. Hope this helps!
