I am a member of the sofi and I am going to mortgage companies to do inspections, would it be inappropiate to hand out my notary business cards to them before I leave? Since I am there representing another company? any comments will be welcomed. Thank You.

I usually give them my card "in case you have any further questions..."

"Oh my, I only seem to have my mobile notary card with me, oh well, it has all my info on it... "

I've done some mortgage co. inspections, and have always left business cards. I don't think it's a conflict of interest at all - you're only there to verify that the mortgage company actually exists, and I don't think you're stepping on any toes by marketing yourself.
