printing problems
So far, every doc I have printed has been on all legal. My printer has dual tray capabilities. I think it is because they are scanned in and come in an adobe e-file. I have done 8 so far, and not one has printed in both sizes automatically. I haven't had any complaints, but when you talk on here about using so much of both paper sizes, I wonder if I am doing something wrong. TY for your help. Btw my printer is a Brother 5250DN

Hi Liz - if you look in the printing options box there should be an option to automatically select the paper size based on PDF page size (Open the PDF File and go to File, Print or print preferences and there should be a checkbox). Also make sure you have the paper size that is in each tray set up in the printer configuration.

If you want to test your printer, download a small 3-page PDF test file. (http://pawnotary.com/download/testfeed.pdf) If you printer is properly configured and you select the "Choose Paper Source by PDF page size" option, it should print the first and third pages on legal size and the second page on letter size.
