Almost in reverse ...
I got all excited to get a call this week (Tues) for a local signing. I didn't return the call quickly enough and lost it  ( It makes me wonder if I've been blackballed somewhere. That phone has been so quiet. Anyone else??

I hear you! I work part time (although available as full time) and I average about 20 signings a month, this month I have done 5 !

I have been doing this for 7 years, so I think I have the trends all figured out:
Halloween through April 15th: slow
Summer: busy.
This June has been as slow as December. I am thinking that our little gold mine is on it's last legs.
I am also not seeing ANY 1% loans with negative ams. Those were so hot last year. I am only seeing solid loans for people with good credit. I just hope all those 3 year PPP I signed refincance instead of forclosing.
Also, this is the "last week". The "last day" is Monday the 25, so we should be very busy this week, but we are not.

Busy as ever in SW IN. I have done 39 so far this month with 5 scheulded for Fri and so far only 3 for Mon. & 2 for Tues (but that will change). Over all this year has been steady.

Yes, I am in an area where there are only a few full time NSA's. Plus I have an IN and KY Notary Certificate. I am fortunate to have worked for a TC for 3+ years before going independent. Lenders & TC's love my experience. Plus I am very flexable...but I do not take those $40-50 closings
