BlueBook

I keep getting e-mails to join this notary-listing outfit.

4 so far..and counting.

Don't want to and don't want 'em.

What particularly irks me is that at the bottom of the e-mail is an "unsubscribe" buttom.

I've hit that thing for each of the last 3 e-mails and I keep getting the stuff.

Geez, Mr. BlueBook...if your notary listing service is as good as your "unsubscribe" button,

then your business should soon go to zero..or stagnate.

There's something called ethics here. The direct implication by your inactive "unsubscribe" button is that you don't give a hoot about anything except the almighty dollar.

Therefore, I would warn potential subscribers to the service that what you have here is somebody who is bent on making money no matter what and if you've got a problem, too dam(sic) bad.

Given what I have seen of the bluebook and the ethics of the owner, I'd say you'd be better off putting your money on this site (and others) which try to be responsive to those who belong and to those who don't.

I unsubscribed twice and the third time I received the email I replied direct telling him I will report his spamming abuse if it show up again.

Good for you, Andy.

If he keeps it up, as I said on another board, he'll be as popular as cooking fish in pig slop.

I have been receiving daily emails as well. I have been in the title business for six years now and have never heard of them. This makes me s little suspicious since they claim the book is utilized by title agents.

Re: BlueBook Anyone?

Has anyone signed up with BlueBook yet?
I'm wondering if they are waiting to see how many will sign up before marketing the dang thing. I've been at this business for 9 yrs, and I've never been solicited by them before.
And what about NotaryBids.com? Anybody sign up with them yet?

Re: BlueBook Anyone?

I read where one notary signed up only because it was free for their county. I told this guy to bug off or I would report him (not sure to who). I was able to poke a couple holes in his sales pitch. It's till too expensive at the cheapest rate.

Re: BlueBook Anyone?

I unsubscribed and they sent me another e-mail. I responded that I had asked to be removed from their list and if I got any more e-mails from them I would file a complaint with the FCC.
