We bought one of these last year, about this time, for about this price. I was sold on it because of all the features. It died about a month ago, and in my research, most places don't recommend that you fix them b/c the parts are too expensive, and you'd be better off putting your money into a more reliable machine.
If you need a printer, and you don't have a lot of $$ right now, it is good, but just expect to only get a year out of it. Plus, the Brother High capacity toner cartridges are not as high capacity as most good HP printers, so the $60.00 toners, while fairly reasonable, add up fast. 4000 page count vs. 10,000 ? on our OLD HP.

Maybe others have had better luck.
