CA Notaries--need opinion

CA property, signing in Arkansas. Pkg. includes an "Addendum to Loan Application (California)"--(the Registered Domestic Partnership yes/no form). Next doc in pkg. is what appears to me to be a loose Ack... attached/referencing nothing. Question: Is this Addendum to Loan Appl. statement/signature supposed to be notarized? Or, as I suspect, are they trying to sneak a loose Ack into the pkg? TIA

It has been my experience that "NO" this is not notarized. And you are probably correct in "sneaking one in". Never have had to use it for the Domestic Partner and never had anything come back to me. HTH

I have never seen one that needs to be notarized

I would only notarize if it had the notarial wording on the actual addendum.

If it is from Countrywide, could be a loose ack that they sent extra

I haven't read all the answers, but I suspect that this is a Countrywide package, toss the extra acknowledgment, it doesn't go to anything. That Addendum is not notarized.

I agree with no notarization, I do these all of the time. Jenifer

I think you should rephrase your question to "I discovered a loose Acknowledgment in a loan Package". Should I complete it, replace it with one of mine and complete it or should I throw it away.

I've did 3 from LSI/ServiceLink this week and each package has a loose acknowledgment. I always send them back blank, never a problem.

Aw, gee, guys....

I'm in Arkansas... what do I know about CA Addendum to Loan App for Registered Domestic Partners? So I checked before I pitched it. Thanks everyone for your input. It is very much appreciated.
