What a PIA this closing is turning out to be. I did it through an SS. They wanted me to fax back documents to the lender for funding authorization, split the package, make a certified copy of the mortgage to go back to the lender. I don't even have a copier. I'm in a very rural area so I can't just run to a Kinkos or Staples to make copies. Normally isn't it the responsibility of the TC to fax the paperwork for funding authorization when they receive the package back from us? I didn't even know about the certified copy until I print the docs out at 5:00 after getting home from work and have to be out the door by 5:30 to make a 6:00 appt. Guess I could have printed an extra copy for them to sign but I was in aw just reading all the instructions they included with the package.

Doesn't your fax machine have a "copy" function?

I got the copy issue worked out....just brought them in here to work when my boss was in court. It does have a copy function, however, mine uses that film and makes crappy copies. Usually when I receive faxes it goes right to my computer and I then print things out on my laser.
