Cingular 8525 or Blackberry 8700c

My current phone is the Blackberry and I love it but I just picked up the 8525 for $99 (couldn't resist) from cingular.com. Now I can't decide. The 8525 has built in wireless internet so right out of the box I am on line getting my email, running windows, watching movie reviews, taking great pictures and listening to music WITHOUT the sim card installed. Is there such a thing as too much techno?

The reps at Verizon told my I could print from the new Blackberry. Is anyone doing this? I'm due for a new phone now and my air card contract is up in August. I'd like to get the Blackberry and do away with the air card and laptop on the road. The wireless broadband service for the Blackberry is only $45 per month a $15 savings compared to the air card.

Techies, any thoughts?

I purchased the 8525 from Cingular back in May and played with it for almost 3 weeks, including trying to use it to print. After several visits to the local Cingular store (now "The New AT&T"Wink, we conceded defeat and I returned it. I paid full price for it, too, so I really wanted it to work.

I traded that for the Blackberry 8800 (and still got a hefty refund) and I worked with the Cingular rep to use it as a direct from email to printer device. It doesn't work. I can use the 8800 as a modem for my laptop, just as I could the older phone that I had (Motorola V557), but it will not print without the laptop in the loop. I kept the 8800 because it has other features that I can and do use constantly, but I also purchased a wireless usb aircard for my laptop.

I am looking at getting a pocket PC and to me this seems to combine the best of all worlds. Of course the longer I look the better they get Wink
