Do I notoize this?

I am doing a signing for a second mortgage and there is a doc called (for residential mortgage purposes only) There are two places to notorize seller and buyer. Do you notorize the buyer section even if it is a second? or Does this get notorized when the property is sold.

Re: Do I notoize this? Patti, who is in front of you and

able to sign?

Maybe I don't understand your question, but if the buyer isn't there, how can you notarize?

I think Patti is asking should the borrower sign and their signature notarized on this particular form. Yes, Patti, in a refi, the borrower is considered the buyer on many forms, though there is no seller. The form that pertains to the buyers/borrowers need to be completed and signed their signatures notarized, if required.

Re: Do I notoize this? Patti, who is in front of you and

I think what confused me is that there is nothing being baught or sold. The person who owns the house is signing a second mortgage. On the buyer line the persons name is printed so I assume I have to notorize this. On the seller portion it says nothing. This seemed odd because it was not the usual doc you notorize for a second.
