Dumping Charter. They're assigning "spam" to innocent

emails and domains.

Nothing I do 'adds' these senders. Charter won't fix. I'm gone.

So, sorry for the rant, but need to get new email address distributed, and fast. What a PITA, but there it is.

Appreciate any help with this transition. I need a new internet connect too. Not many choices here. Back to WCN? (West Coast Net)

Also, looking for another cable connection - Dish is advertising hard. Seems I remember a 'contract' time limit some time ago - like cell phone providers, a year or two. Maybe there are other options, I need to check. I dislike the whole 'contract' for payment-certain concept for open market services.

Website needs updating first....so toodles, all. Hoping for a comforting EOM to everyone.

I have Charter too. My email got soooo full of spam/junk, I stopped using it.... over 2 years ago. I go into that email address sometimes and I have about 2600 emails... all junk. I tried blocking at the beginning of the madness but the sender would come back w/"you blocked my email" and continued w/their crap.

I got me a domain w/yahoo $9.95 a year plus you have to pay, maybe $15. extra, to keep spam out. It's worth the extra because everything rec'v at my email is related to the business so I don't have to clean up, unsubscribe, etc. (so far) everytime I go into the mail.

I'm limited too, as far as choices. I really don't like Charter but I dislike my options more.

Just dump your email address with them and get gmail.com...like Susan already has. With gmail I stay pretty much spam free.

but I like my email address.... it's so me... and I have the same w/every free service ...don't and never have used it for business.... just p/o'd that i gets jammed w/spam....wow ! poet and didn't know it >>

I feel for you Susie, what a pain having to change emails. I am doing it too. I have Peak Internet and email and it's been about 4 months and had no problems with spam. We have Dish network here too...I too hate contracts, especially the $29.99 for 6 months type (Charter) You have to make sure you plug your phone into your Dish Network box or they charge an extra $5/mo. and the set up guy won't do it for you
