Eleventh Hour Signing
DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. IT HAS BEEN OVER 60 DAYS AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED PAYMENT. THEY HAVE EMAILED ME TWICE SAYING THEY CUT MY CHECK AND STILL NOTHING. I CONTACTED THE TITLE COMPANY THAT CONTRACTED THEM TO SEE WHAT COULD BE DONE. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT PAY!

We need to stop the rascaldom's practices to screw up hard working people. That is to sad. They use your service and do not want to pay. We need a Class Action against it. I don't mind to pay for it. I've been working in this industry for 2 years, and twice have not been paid. We might to write a complaint letter to SOS. Many of this companies eventully open other companies to keep their fraudellent actions toward notaries. Do not give up, Jacob. Keep up to demand your money.

Get Real
You need to get real. First let me say that you did the work, you should be paid in full (assuming that no mistakes were made on your part). Period. But that is not always life. There are always dead beat companies preying on NSA's.
Second, a class action suit is just plain crazy. Do you know what it takes to do one? Do you have any idea of the dollars involved? I use to work for one of the nation's largest. We were constantly having fund raisers, sending out letters asking for support, etc. Not even the wealthy wanted to bankroll their efforts for a single suit.
To be successful in business you must have a business plan. Part of that plan is taking into consideration a loss. You need to adjust your fees accordingly to help cover that. This may be $1 to $5 per signing as an example. The quantity of loans you do per year, plus your average base fee, will help set that loss fee. You need to know when to cut your loses and move on with life. I don't feel that means giving up, because I never do. Like others it has taken over a year with a few companies to receive payment on. Keep hounding them. But also be realistic.
Good luck with it!

I have closed many loans for Paige. It is getting more difficult to get paid. She says that they are a net 45 company. She has always paid me..... I have 2 invoices just over 60 days.
I faxed a reminder letter to her tonight. It will be followed up with a phone call tomorrow.
