Their fee structure is 45 days but posts on other sites indicate they're running 60-70 days and sometimes more - I don't have personal experience with this - I only have 2 outstanding from just this past weekend...EFS is up front when you sign on with them that they pay in 45 days (odd for a title company but, oh well) but I hear they always pay - again, no personal experience, just what I've read.

I was finally paid but it took nearly 80 days, with many telephone calls ending in "The check's in the mail." They said they were having employee problems, etc. They require too much lagniappe from a notary to then wait long periods of time for payments. I don't mind the 45 days and I could have lived with that but not 80 days. My experience with them is OVER. I will not work for them again. They are babysitters to the notaries; split packages with copies to both; too many fax backs, etc. They also have a habit of blaming notaries for their errors. I am not subjecting myself to this, but some folks have had better experiences with them. I did too until I learned from a borrower that they blamed me for their mistakes. GRRRRRRR. In fact, I was contemplating not working for them due to the payment issues, but that lie to a borrower clenched it for me. I was professional to the borrower and told them that I was sorry that things got confused and that I would help in any way I could. That was difficult to swallow but I try to be a better person when dealing with incompetence...Best of luck to you while dealing with them.

Janet, I did not look were you were posting from then I saw the word "Lagniappe" then I looked next to your name: Of course you are from Louisiana! I lived there for 35 years, until after Katrina. Seeing the word Lagniappe made me feel all warm and fuzzy...Sorry everyone else, I know this is O/T but I couldn't help myself.

Just got a check this week for an April 30th closing. Check for May closing to be mailed this week. We'll see. Slow to pay, but no problem meeting my fee.

I have 2 outstanding invoices with them also..one from March, the other from May..I called the number I have for them and it was answered by another company, I was told "No this is not Express Title, good luck"! I'm not sure what he meant! I guess time will tell..

I was given a different number to call but, it was answered with their name.

I have done many closings for them in the past. They used to call me a lot and the packages were decent. Then all of a sudden they stopped.
