FOX Signing Services
I post on the board some time ago about late/no pay for a signing completed on Mar 3, 2007 for this company. Today, 6/8 I received full payment (92 days) for the signing. Check is dated 4/13/07 but envelope is post marked 6/4.
On Mon. 6/4 I received a letter from the Commonwealth of PA State Dept. of Professional Compliance indicating my complaint was being investigate and a file had been created along with a case number. For anyone out there that is having problems collecting from FOX that is the route to go for getting paid.
Better late than never!

Good for you, Sandra! I have also had luck when I contacted the Secretary of State, Dept. of Corporations in the state where the company is located on the rare occasions I have had to go that far in order to secure payment.

I just turned them into a collections company. Their debt to me is a year old. Calling the BBB didn't work..at least that BBB.

It was a first for me other than Richmond Notary - I got paid on that too. I have been very fortunate not to but these 2. I also check the search button here, especially with signing companies. If notaries stick together and report the deadbeats to the proper authorities, we stand a better chance of getting our fees paid. The the BBB is useless - they can do nothing to help us; its a waste of time to call them. They have no police powers - getting the states involved where the ss is located is the only way to get paid. It may take a little time to do it this way but hey.......for a good fee its worth it! Plus I hate liars and deadbeat!!! Don't we all?
