Has anyone ever been paid by Velocity?
If not, maybe we should ban together to try and do something about Jeff McKee and his company.

I am stilled owed a job from January 2007. I recently sent them a demand letter which was returned, moved no forwarding address. According to the Title Company involved in my transaction, they do not us them anymore for various reasons. My hunch is they are no longer in business. I do know for a fact Velocity was paid by the Title Co that hired them for the closing. I also filed with the BBB. Everyone else should too..........

He's back in business, site is back up. I also filed with the BBB, but they refused to do anything about it. I know he was paid for the signing I did for him (title told me he was paid) but, since they paid him, they can't pay me. However, they did say they were going to look into it for me.

I would ask them to do a bit more then look into it.
He as their agent is alleged to be ripping folks off, they stand just a bit of liability in this matter. I would continue to talk to the title company person and when the day comes they say there is nothing more they can do ask to speak to the legal department and state your case to them. If he has a pattern of this and you can prove others were done badly, and the title company is aware then I believe they will start to see things your way.

Why is it that in many cases the opposite of a signing service's first name is an indication of how timely you will be paid.
