Hey Florida Notaries, I need some help.

I have a closing in Kentucky for a Florida property. Which docs require a witness signing?

Re: Hey Florida

Only deeds; unless the lender/title co is requiring witnesses on the mortgage.

Re: Hey Florida

Thank you. That's all I saw asking for a witness. Just thought it was to easy to be just one doc. Thanks again for your assistance.

Re: Hey Florida

I would just double check with whomever contracted you....just in case!

As Brit says only deeds require two witnesses (one can be the notary). Some lenders will ask for witnesses on the mortgage too. Any time you get witness signatures for Florida make sure the witnesses print their names under the signatures.
