Jan 2007 was busier then this month so far

YIKES!!!!! I'm if this month does not change I will not be able to cover July's bills. Glad I have a few interviews lined up for the end of the week and next week.

Spoke with some clients and they are going through another round of layoffs. CW has closed down most of there local offices around here.

I hope business picks up enough for me to cover July at least..

This is my slowest beginning since last June

This is the first month that I've felt worried. But I did just get 3 calls, 2 of which I accepted. I turned down 2 for Monday because my son had a baseball game. I'm hoping it picks up for you and everyone.

I just saw on last nite's news that C/W was adding 3,000 new employees in anticipation of a business upturn. What's up with that?

CW is kinda booming. They are picking up the slack where the other guys have gone out of business. I can't think of a CW package that hasn't had headaches, but it is business.

I am busier than an one armed paper hanger, all with CW. Nevada is definitely not a hot spot right now so I don't know what is driving it.

I've only been doing this for a few months, but my experience has definitely been that the second half of the month is busier than the first. One month I actually called my cellphone to see if it was working, because it never rang anymore, after having rung off the hook the last part of the prior month!

Interest rates have gone up a bit, according to my sister in law who is in wholesale mortgage. That probably has an effect, too.
