LandAmerica OneStop Signing Service (OSS)

Does anyone know anything about LandAmerica OneStop Signing Service (OSS)? If so, how do they pay? Also, do you know anything about Countrywide? Help in NC, think I've been tricked by them.

Thanks,
Starnc

OSE has always paid on time and met my fee. My last two closings I received payment in 2 wks. So far they've been good to me.

LandAmerica is at the top of my list. They meet my fees and always pay in a timely matter. In my opinion, if all companies were as good as this one we would all be happy campers. I do most of their work in my area and I love them. They have a tendency to find and keep those agents that do a good job for them too.

Countrywide is one of those companies you must acquire a taste for. LOL What I mean by that, is they require a little more from their agents. Fax backs, split packages and late docs seem to be the norm for them. Not bad (except for the docs being late) once your used to them but they do take some getting used to. Worth the effort to do so though. Just get used to appointments not happening at the time you are given. I dont believe I have ever had a countrywide that went according to schedule.

Land Am called me the other day for a 1st, edocs, but would only pay $85. I gave them my fee of $xxx and got the usual have to get that approved. Of course I didn't hear back.

Great to work with. Always meet my fees and quick payment. Very easy to work with, I take all that I can get.

As for Countrywide, I like their packages but they always come last minute and alot of times after the appointment is scheduled for.

quick to pay, but low ball on fee's.;.. .same here, they will call and quote me what they want to pay, I tell them NO, that my fee is more... they say they will have to get it approved, and don't call back.... I am not printing 2 sets of a package, driving, closing for $85.00.
