Land Options - Don't fuss at me
but yes, I took another shot at Land Options since Sarah Hurley is not there anymore - but Leah Balmer is just as bad. I did two closings for them in April the first one didn't close at the table on the advise of the LO and then I went back six days later and it finally closed. Was told both times that I would be paid for BOTH closings since I did my part and the no-sign was title error (I think it actually was the LO's error but anyway) - I have called (had to leave messages - no return phone calls) and e-mailed Leah and finally on May 16th she sent me an e-mail and "apologized" that I had not yet received payment. She said she would "check with accounting" and would "let you know" what is going on here. Well, get this, SHE IS the Accounts Manager. Now how far would she have to go to look this up and why would it be taking so long. So, I looked up the President's name of the corporate office and sent him a letter along with documentation. Guess what - I haven't heard back from him yet either. So, now I am going to file a formal complaint with the State of Pennsylvania Dept. of Corporations (probably won't do me any good - but it will make me feel better). I have also filed a complaint with the BBB of Western Pennsylvania. Soooooo, for what its worth - they are still up to their same old tricks - get the notary to do the job and don't pay them. Just had to vent - and NO, I will NEVER EVER accept another assignment from them.
