NREIS fees
Anyone finding that NREIS out of Pittsburgh isn't willing to meet NSA fee? Needs a Countrwide closed with docs overnighted to borrowers. Told them my fee and they said they normall pay $65.00 overnight/$90 for edocs.

They've been doing this for quite awhile and it seems they have no room for negotiation unless it includes faxbacks, and then they pay only $10 for that, not what you want.

This outfit just does not negotiate - unless it's for a weekend closing. You simply take the signing or leave it.

Leave it. I don't leave my house anymore for less than $$$. I know what I am worth and the companie I work for know that I am worth twice that. It is a nice feeling.

I worked as a Settlement Agent for NREIS from Feb - May of this year and found they offer a base $75 to most closers, and go up to $100 for over night docs. They will go up to $125+ for E-Docs, it just depends on the distance - the lowballers who will sign for less as to how much they will pay.

Re: Got a call this morning from them
Signing tonight - e-docs - faxbacks - town where I live (could be upwards of 20mi one way) - offered $100 - told her my fee is $xxx for my county - no negotiation, no nothing - she'll call me if she gets it approved. Guess they don't realize that on top of travel to signing and faxbacks I have an additional 30 miles travel to drop the package tomorrow.
BTW - I'm still waiting for the call with approval..<G>
