Nexus Signing Solutions

Need some advise. I waited around all day and night for this loan signing that was supposed to take place at 8pm. Contacted the borrowers several times before I was ready to leave the house. Printed the E-docs. Borrower's wife calls me at 7:30pm (BY THE WAY, I PASSED UP ON ANOTHER LOAN SIGNING DUE TO BEING COMMITTED TO THIS LOAN SIGNING)....she states, my husband decided he isn't going to sign the loan, and he won't go with the loan officer that he has been dealing with. I call everyone involved at the SS, the loan officer etc....PS...they tell me to hold tight and they will call me back. No call back. I call everyone again.....hey, I just passed up another signing is this guy going to sign? Should I go? Loan officer states, no don't go....just go to your other signing. THE QUESTION HERE IS: THE SS DECIDES THEY AREN'T PAYING ME....WON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS. I TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD ACCEPT HALF THE AGREED UPON FEE, AND $25 FOR PRINTING.....NO FEEDBACK. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS. THANKS.

Unfortunately this is one part of the biz that I know can be very frustrating. Since you did not actually go to the signing, you are going to have a hard time collecting for 1/2 the fee. Yes, print fee is definitely due here, but I do not think that they will pay you for making phone calls.

It IS your business.... you decide on your charges UNLESS you have an agreement with them stating what the cancellation fees are and when............ at the very least they owe a print fee.

jmo........
