OT- But it's a dry heat
Suppose to be 113 degrees here today. When my kids were small, we used to try and fry an egg on the sidewalk when it got this hot (it never worked). No signings scheduled for today (so far) but I might just have to charge a hazard fee if I have to go out in the heat.

Re: Wow, that's hot!!..
It has only been 98 degrees here in East Kentucky. But we have that humid, sticky heat. Sounds like it's time for a tall glass of fresh squeezed lemonade and lounge by the pool. Stay Cool!!!

Re: OT- "Hazard Fee"
I remember one time we were having lots of stormy rain. I work in a city near the coast, and they asked me to drive to another coastal city out of my area. I said it was just too dangerous today. They coastal drive is a cliff on one side and the ocean on the other. The next day thay had a devestating mudslide, that blocked the road. It cut off travel between the cities for a couple of weeks. You had to either take a boat or a plane. I am so glad I didn't get trapped out of town.
It would be nice if this heat stopped. But it is only the begining of summer. I think today is the first day.

Re: OT- "Hazard Fee"
I would take a dry heat over humidity. Luckily my pool is still refreshing, but even by the end of the summer the pool is too hot. I was born and raised in AZ so I am used to just staying inside or in the pool during the summer. It would be nice to have some seasons ;-)
