I am using MS word 2003 and my cursor will go miniscule... any ideas why? or where and how to fix this?

does this only happen in Word? Cursor is usually controlled by windows either through Control Panel/Accessiblity Options or by the desktop scheme that is selected in Control/Display.
Windows Help instructs: To change the size of the command prompt cursor 1. Open the Command Prompt window. 2. Right-click the title bar, and do one of the following: o To change this setting for all command prompt windows, click Defaults. o To change this setting for the current command prompt window only, click Properties. 3. On the Options tab, under Cursor Size, specify a cursor size.
Command Prompt window is a DOS feature. To access a direct link, go to Window Help and type "cursor size" .
Good luck!

It sounded like a weird workaround to me, but apparently others have been experiencing the same thing and it worked for them. Glad you got it fixed.
